Getting Down with my Bad Self

ho hums

The only bum thing about getting great time off, is how much worse it is when you have to then go BACK to work. UGH!

I realized yesterday that it sure is a good thing that I don't have anything that I need people to help me with before my wedding, because no one will be around.

We had got to talking about doing a bachelorrette something, and J was talking about doing his on thursday night, so he wouldn't be wrecked before the wedding. Well, none of my people will even be here on thursday night.

Maid of Honor: moved to Romania. Won't be coming at all.

Bridesmaid #1=would be happy to go out, but can't get in anywheres cause she isn't 21.

Bridesmaid #2=doesn't drink at all. Not sure if she will even come out.

Bridesmaid #3=getting married two weeks before me, so will probably be on her honeymoon. Will barely make it down in time for the rehearsal dinner.

Bridesmaid #4=just informed me that she and her boyfriend are planning a trip to England the week of the wedding, and would it be okay for her to get back in on Friday, and just drive down then?

Bridesmaid #5=only person who is willing or interested in going out at all. Only person who even asked me if I wanted anything.

That is depressing.

But it was sure nice of #5 to ask.

wedding weirdness

i had the worst dream last night. problem is, I am sure it won't be the WORST dream I have, leading up to the wedding.

I got married, and the wedding was so bad, everyone left right after dinner.

I have a good friend who's a foodie, and she hated the food so much, that she ended the night (at the wedding) by eating a bowl of cereal.

I wasn't wearing the right dress.

I'm not even sure I married the right guy.

and we fought.

I think I actually married K's brother, in my dream, because his sister (K) got drunk and started the fight.

For some reason, I sat my family on the far side of the ugly cafeteria looking room right next to the horrid dj, who wouldn't play any dance music. They were hidden behind some large bush things, that I guess were decoration.

I don't think my sisters even came.

I was miserable in my dream, and I was crying, and I was asking everyone to tell me that this HAD to be a dream, right? right?

Everyone in my dream was like "no, sorry, this is real".

I have a bone to pick with my dream friends. JERKS!

But on the up side, I had REALLY white teeth.....

heavy

It gets to a point sometimes, where the only things you think about are huge life-changing things....so it doesn't really make for an entertaining read.

Small observations on the little things in life make for much more interesting entries.

So there you have it. So I will give you a run down on the "Big Decisions"....

I have been deciding whether or not to keep my job. Answer: keep it, at least for one more year. It pays well, and you really can't beat the vacation time!

I think we've found someone who will marry us, and put together a service we can both live with. She is nice, and seems pretty amenable to whatever we'd like to do.

I think we are going to be looking into moving away from the city in another year or two. THe cost of living here is absurd, and we'd never be able to afford anything bigger than a matchstick box. And living in a matchstick box, even without the matches, doesn't sound like much fun. We want a house in the country. I think we might be looking into that. but not yet. we gots some moolah to save first!

We have registered. thank heavens! There are a few things that we haven't put on there yet, but most of it is there! We still need silver serving pieces, and some (gasp!) cool white table linens--in case someone actually buys us our colorful china! ahahahahahhahahaha!

I wish I could say that we are both relatively healthy, but my recurrent girl-tastic problem has returned. Can't I just rip out broken girl parts and get new ones? stupid parts.

And that is it. we are looking forward to a trip to NY this weekend. Hopefully we can see some of you new yawakers while we be there.....

AND (for the record) I have to say...I love daffodil heads! THey are poking out all over...now if this sneaky cold weather will just hit the road....AH SPRING!

i am ready...pink trench coat and all...C"MON SPRING!
