Viva La...well, you can finish the rest

So,
Vegas was great!

I really enjoyed it. Even thought about moving there...surely all the expensive entertainment needs someone to run it/clean it/move it....I can do that. I can also teach. Teach Teach Teach. But there is something unnerving about moving to a place that technically is the desert. I mean, they have serious water management problems out there...especially now with the population boom. So--I think we ruled that out, at least for a while, anyways.

But man...what a theatrical place to BE...I just loved it. Everything there is just unbelievable. I would definately go back. There was no "second wedding", however, but I can't even say I'm disappointed. We were only there for 2.25 days, and if we were rushing around even a tiny speck of that time trying to find a hokey chapel would have taken us away from what we really wanted to do while we were there. Besides, all the folks we went with might not have appreciated it...they already saw one wedding!

So--there you have it.

Oh--and no big wins. Sadly. But lots of entertainment!

Well, not like anyone checks this much anymore, but I apologize to the internet gods for not keeping my end of the bargain. But, to be fair, if this site worked more regularly, there would be more posts.

Still in the throws of figuring out what I want to be when I grow up.

I tossed around the idea of law school. But I don't know if I could get into anywhere around here, and I am not sure we are ready to move elsewhere for temporary reasons right now.
I guess I could still apply....I don't know if I would like being a lawyer, but I do like law shows on tv, so--it's a good bet, right?

I am seriously thinking about switching to elementary ed. I don't think I want to be away from my "family" for the hours that I have now. Especially if I am workin with a bunch a jerks.
I know teaching little kids wont' be easy, but at least I can take the work home to grade and such. It's an idy, anyways...and I think i am going to do some work towards that goal...they always need good teachers.

we have so much going on these days...weekends are packed! I am really enjoying that right now. hooray for spring.

AND, I am running. Granted, it is only for 4 minutes at a pop, but still...that is pretty good for me. walk for 6, run for 4, walk for 6, run for 4. I like it. I feel good afterwards, and I feel like I can think clearly. It' something I have never really been into before, but I am diggin it.

I have lost about 6 pounds as well, which is good. I want to lose about 10 more. That would be perfect.

Last weekend we went to NY for fam stuff, and got lost on Long Island. Wandered around NY on our own, without getting lost, but apparently couldn't get out of the place. Bah! Although, my glasses did. My cool specs, lost forever. Oh well, I never really wore them much, and they were horribly outdated lenses.

Am looking forward to bbqs, and schtuff. oh, and summer vacation. So much summer vacation...mmmmmmmm.
