oh and by the way...

I'm sorry for my suckiness in updating. I have just started back to school, and I am sure none of you can feel sorry for me, especially after I waved my summer vacation in all of your faces like a red flag is waved in front of "de Booll".


Oh, and right between getting ready for school and actual classes, we drove my sista to her new job in Louisville KY. It was a rocking trip, actually. Quite fun. we made it in 4 days. Yes, we are crazy. So, I am not entirely making it up that I have been wicked busy.

5 days and counting?

Well, we are supposed to close Friday. Or, since there was a mix up, Thursday. Or we might have to go back to our original date, and close Monday. But any way this shakes out, in about a week or so--we are going to owe more money than we have ever seen for the rest of our lives. I don't see much of any way around it.

I am excited about the house, and have talked ad-naseum about ways to improve, paint, decorate...etc. But, you can't help it when you owe that kind of money if you have that little voice in your head that says things like, "oh god, this will be so hard... it will wipe us out, what if we aren't doing the right thing--housing prices could go down"....etc.

And then, there's the STUFF. If you know me at all, you know that I have always had lots of stuff. The only person I have ever known to have more stuff than me, well, I'm not allowed to speak of her (or to her) anymore. I have been working on condensing my stuff. Making it manageable. But, there is still lots of it. We have to find a place for it in our new teeny house. And I am concerned, seeing as the kitchen is have the size of the one we have now....aaaaagh! But, I think we've come up with some pretty creative solutions. It might take us a year or so to implement them, butI think the place is going to be really cute when we are done....And then we will move away!

Although we close on Thfymond-ay, we won't move in till the 29th or so, so we have some time to get things done over there. Finally, some time to make each room the color of my dreams!

So, if we don't answer the phone for a while, it's just because we can't find it. And for anyone who cares, we will send out an updated number when we get one...which will be in three weeks or so!
