Soggy Socks and Pulling Locks (of hair, that is)

I am pretty sure that the handful of people who had an interest in this thing got fed up with me quite a while ago. SO, since i have no readership, I suppose I am free to write whatever I want. So back to the wedding it is.

We had our tasting with the caterer we are going to use or the wedding on wed. It was so fab. I have never felt so important. We got there and a guy in a tuxedo opened the door for us. There were probably 4 or 5 tuxedo-ed waiters assigned just to us for the afternoon.

We walked into the room, and they had set the whole thing up with 3 tables, china, linens, votive candles--the whole shee-bang....awesome. Then, they handed us special menus of what food was coming out, and in which order (which we had preselected).

They brought out the hors doerves (okay I know that's spelled wrong, but I haven't the time to look up the right spelling and change it...so TAKE THAT!) out on all different platters so we could see the 'presentation' of the food. All different, and all fancily arranged on various platters...it was reallycool (reallycool getting liscence to be used as one word in this context). We each tried TEN different hors deoruves. (I thought I would try another experimental spelling....just to keep you on your toes.)

THEN, they brought out all the food for the buffet. THey set a buffet table with AMAZING amounts of food. Some of it was good, and some was SUPER yummy. but we were completely stuffed by the end of the tasting....AND THEN there were cakes! We had pre-selected cake flavors, and they made us 3 8" round cakes! and, of course, when we didn't finish them, they packed them up, and TOOK THEM TO MY CAR so we could take them home. It was the coolest thing ever. The only thing cooler will be our wedding. Which I can't wait for.

How fun will that be?

ps--anyone want to come over for *REALLY* good cake and coffee?
