Lies and Propaganda

Getting Down with my Bad Self

Holidays Schmolidays

Thanksgiving was nice, but uneventful. I mean, fun, but of course I was sick so I couldn't really enjoy it, and couldn't be kissed by the grandparents. They hate that.

Much work in between. Lots and Lots. But upcoming break and trip to NY should cure what ails me. I just love wandering the city. Any time of year. Summer is better than winter, but I will take what I can get.

I don't have presents for all people I'd really like to, and for that...there's cards! ha!

We are having everyone at our house starting next week, and I am very excited. It will be the first time folks will really have seen our place. And I think it will be impressive, mostly because everything that we haven't found a place for yet will end up in the shed, and I will love it! We should charge rent to the people who are keeping junk in our shed. So very much stuff...but I love the shed. The shed is my friend. Except when there's bugs in the shed. Then, not so much.

I am becoming the antithesis of my real self. Meaning: instead of a pack rat, I am the throw-away mouse. I don't want any stuff. IN fact, I have been giving away stuff like a banshee. Our place is so small, we just don't have room.

So, what we can't find a home for, or don't need any more, is leaving.

Other semi-related news: I started weight watchers. I have lost 2 pounds. Man, is this tough. I can't even believe it. But, I am going to do it. I can lose 20 pounds. I can. I can at least lose ten or 15. at least. So...I am working on that. And, if I can, I get to keep my skinny clothes. If I can't...then...I am going to get rid of them. *sniff. but it seems such a shame to get rid of such cute things, when someday I MIGHT be able to wear them. So, someday has become now. If I can't fit back into them..(my suits, etc) then they leave. Boy, will this free up some closet space!

So many things to do, in so little time!

Happy holidays to everyone!
